Identify your TeleWork equipment

Identifying the components of your work environment that are required or can be used at home is essential as a first step in TeleWork. First, it is recommended you take pictures of your equipment connections BEFORE you begin disassembling any components that will be relocated. Take pictures of how cables are connected between the computer, monitor, phone system, and in-wall ethernet (network) port. You will be able to refer to these pictures to help you reassemble the equipment once it has been relocated. Below are the major components that will be required to successfully work from home.

Each picture may be clicked to view an enlarged version. There will be additional details on what each component is and how they connect on future pages.

Meraki

This device provides connectivity back to the Baptist Health network.  It will be provided to you and is not part of the equipment found at your desk today.

Computer

You will need your computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and attached cables. There are many types of computers in the Baptist Health environment and yours should resemble one of the ones pictured above.

Cisco IP Phone

Your Cisco IP phone can be used with your Meraki if it is needed.  You may also use your connected headset with the phone.  Insure you take all attached cables/power supplies used in connecting these devices.

Peripherals

You may have accesories that you use with your computer such as a webcam, speaker phone, surge protector, power supplies and other miscellaneous cables that are needed.
